We can access to the server that holds the website’s files using the FTP login. Many clients are unable to locate their FTP login information. We’d want to offer the step-by-step approach you’d take to identify your website’s FTP login with GoDaddy, given the large number of sites that utilise GoDaddy for hosting and domain management.

FTP LOGIN HAS THREE PIECES (How to Create FTP Account in CPanel godaddy?)

You will be looking for three pieces of information for an FTP login:
- the address of the host or server,
- the username, and
- the password.
NOTE: Your FTP account and cPanel use the same login and password.
STEPS FOR FINDING FTP LOGIN
- Go to GoDaddy’s website and create an account.
- Make that you’re on the “My Products” page.
- Look for the term “web hosting.” It should include a list of all of your hosting plans (if you have more than one). Note: If the section “Web Hosting” is collapsed, click it to expand it and reveal its contents.
- Next to the hosting plan for which you require FTP credentials, click the “Manage” button. This should bring you to the Dashboard.
- The Host Address (also known as the server address) is as follows:
- On the right-hand side, look for the “Settings” box.
- Your Host Address will be the “Primary Domain.”
- The following is the username:

- Look for the “cPanel Login” button. Your FTP username will be this.
- The Password is as follows:

- It’s possible that the password will refresh in 5-15 minutes. Close the box once the update is complete.
