You will be looking for three pieces of information for an FTP login:

  1. the address of the host or server,
  2. the username, and
  3. the password.

NOTE: Your FTP account and cPanel use the same login and password.

STEPS FOR FINDING FTP LOGIN

  1. Go to GoDaddy’s website and create an account.
  2. Make that you’re on the “My Products” page.
  3. Look for the term “web hosting.” It should include a list of all of your hosting plans (if you have more than one). Note: If the section “Web Hosting” is collapsed, click it to expand it and reveal its contents.
  4. Next to the hosting plan for which you require FTP credentials, click the “Manage” button. This should bring you to the Dashboard.
